Mildly abrasive substances are called metal polishing compounds. They are used in the process of removal of contaminants from the paint and they also help in smoothening by removing a small amount of paint from the surface. These metal polishing compounds are mostly used in eliminating light scratches to facilitate unquestioned finishing of automobiles and enhancing their shine. Multiple types of polishing compounds are available to use for different workpiece surfaces like tan bobbing, black emery, brown Tripoli, white rouge, red rouge, etc.
White
White metal polishing compound is a fine substance useful for final stage buffing and polishing. It is mainly used for stainless steel and hard metals.
Black
Black metal polishing compound is applied in a small amount by holding against the spinning buffing wheel or is rubbed on a cloth to be used on aluminum, brass, copper iron, nickel, steel, etc.
Brown
Brown metal polishing compound is a versatile and effective type used for polishing the medium cutting compounds for aluminum, brass, rubber, wood.
Gold
