Product Description: Nickel cathodes are manufactured by electrolysis. They are obtained after remaining for several weeks in nickel sulfate or nickel chloride baths .
This produces nickel cathodes with a nickel purity of over 99.98%. There are different sizes available to cut cathodes up to 1200mm long, for electroplating baths. Depending on the type of nickel cathode, we have several possible thicknesses, ranging from 10mm to 16mm.
Areas of application: Nickel cathodes are used as nickel anodes for electrolytic deposition. They are placed in Watt or Wood nickel baths. These baths are based on nickel sulfate, nickel chloride and boric acid .
Nickel cathodes are also cut to make 1×1 nickel squares for electroplating.
They can also be used in foundry in the form of 2×2 and 4×4 squares.
We offer nickel cathodes cut specifically to your needs. We can adjust the lengths and widths, and choose the thickness that suits you.
For proper use, the cathodes are placed in anode bags and attached to the anode bar using a titanium anode hook .
To make it easier for you to use, we can drill the cathodes to the dimensions of your choice.

1×1 Nickel Squares

Dimensions: 25×25 mm
Product Description: Our 1″x1″ nickel squares are cut from high purity nickel cathodes , greater than 99.98%. The batches are sorted to meet the requirements for use in surface treatment. The product is then packaged according to our customers’ needs.
Areas of use: Nickel squares are used as anodes for electrolytic nickel baths based on nickel sulfate and nickel chloride . Due to their low cost, nickel squares are often used for decorative applications.
They are placed in rectangular titanium baskets with sufficient width to avoid bridges. An anode bag is recommended to optimize filtration.
Nickel squares can also be used in foundry, especially 2″x2″ and 4″x4″ squares.

Nickel S Rounds

Product description: The S nickel round, or sulfur depolarized, has been specially developed for working in baths without nickel chloride , for rapid and technical deposits, in electronics or connectors and for electroforming.
It has the same characteristics as the electrolytic round with the addition of approximately 200 ppm of Sulfur. This addition will facilitate the dissolution of nickel, making the process more efficient.
The S round measures approximately 20mm wide by 15mm high. Its packing density when placed in a titanium basket is approximately 5kg per dm3
Areas of use: Nickel round S can be used in any type of nickel plating bath: nickel sulfate and chloride and also in nickel sulfamate baths , particularly for electronics and electroforming.

Elliptical Nickel Anodes

Purity: The purity of elliptical nickel anodes is > 99.98%. There are two grades of elliptical nickel: Carbon nickel and depolarized nickel.
Dimensions:
- Carbon nickel: section 75 x 40mm
- depolarized nickel: section 80 x 35mm.
We can cut to your dimensions on request. The maximum length is 4000mm, or 4 meters.
We can also drill and tap the anodes in order to put a titanium hook which will be attached to the carrier bar.
Areas of application: Elliptical carbon nickel anodes are used in traditional baths (based on nickel sulfate and chloride) for nickel deposits.
Depolarized elliptical nickel is used in nickel sulfamate baths .
It is advisable to place a polypropylene bag around the anodes to prevent dispersion.

Product description : our expanded nickel anodes and solid sheets are custom-made according to your technical constraints. The expanded metal guarantees you good current distribution, increases the anode surface (coefficient 1.2) and better circulation of the bath. The weight of the anode is considerably reduced and there is no pollution. We can shape the anodes for barrel baths and can weld a nickel flat as a hook and according to your support bar (round or rectangular).
