Copper Cathodes
TECHNICAL SHEET
CAS: 7440-50-8 / EINECS: 231-159-6
Chemical symbol: Cu
Purity: The purity of copper cathodes is > 99.99%
Dimensions: whole cathode: approximately 1000x1000mm – cut cathode: according to your dimensions
Product Description: Copper cathode is the first pure product from the ore. After remaining several weeks in a copper sulfate electrolysis , the cathodes are removed and are used as copper anodes in electroplating.
The copper cathodes we offer are registered at LME Grade A. This is the purest quality with a copper content greater than 99.99%. They generally measure 1000x1000mm, with a thickness of +/- 10mm.
Areas of use: we can cut these copper cathodes to your dimensions so that they can be used in your alkaline copper plating baths, acting as an anode. These baths can be based on copper cyanide and sodium cyanide or potassium cyanide .
In order to be able to hang the anodes on the anode bar using an anode hook , we can drill the cathodes according to your requirements.
Copper squares are made from copper cathode.

Mini Copper Cylinders
TECHNICAL SHEET
CAS: 7440-50-8 / EINECS: 231-159-6
Chemical symbol: Cu
Purity: The purity of mini copper cylinders is > 99.99%
Dimensions: Diameters: 5, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20mm – lengths: from 5 to 40mm
Product description: To adapt to your needs, we offer several diameters for the mini copper cylinders: 5, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 20mm. We also adapt the length: from 5 to 40mm. Other dimensions are also possible, do not hesitate to ask us.
We offer different shades of copper:
- The mini-cylinder of electrolytic copper – ETP copper: made with copper greater than 99.99% purity, it is used for copper sulfate and copper pyrophosphate baths . It is still used for baths containing sodium or potassium cyanide with copper cyanide .
- Oxygen Free Copper Mini Cylinder – OF Copper: Its particularly low oxygen content, always below 5 ppm, corresponds to special applications. Its advantage is a lower electrolysis sludge formation than electrolytic copper. OF Copper is dissolved in acidic copper sulfate baths and also potassium pyrophosphate and copper pyrophosphate formulations. It is also used in potassium or sodium cyanide baths containing copper cyanide.
- The mini-cylinder of copper with Phosphorus – DXP copper: this quality of lightly alloyed copper is used for bright deposits or as an undercoat before a nickel deposit. Also called DHP Copper or DXP Copper, it contains between 400 and 600 ppm of Phosphorus. The anodes are placed in copper sulfate baths.
Areas of use: mini copper cylinders are used for electrolytic copper plating. Depending on the type of copper deposit desired (matte, shiny, ductile, etc.), different qualities of copper will be used: electro, Oxygen free or phosphorus.
When in use, the mini copper cylinders are placed in titanium baskets with an anode bag around them.

Copper Balls & Beads
TECHNICAL SHEET
CAS: 7440-50-8 / EINECS: 231-159-6
Chemical symbol: Cu
Purity: The purity of copper balls is > 99.99%
Dimensions: Diameters: 15, 25, 31, 40, 50 and 60mm
Product Description: To suit your needs, we offer several diameters for copper balls ranging from 15 to 60 mm.
Made from the purest copper cathodes , the balls are placed in rectangular or cylindrical titanium baskets, depending on their size.
Due to their spherical shape, the circulation of the copper balls is homogeneous and thus prevents the formation of bridges in the baskets. The anodic surface also remains constant thanks to very easy maintenance. As always, in order to retain the residues, an anode bag will be placed around the basket.
Finally, 100% of the copper is consumed and there is no waste to manage.
Copper beads come in different shades of copper:
Oxygen Free Copper Ball – OF copper: its particularly low oxygen content, always below 5 ppm, corresponds to special applications. Its advantage is a lower formation of electrolysis sludge than electrolytic copper. OF copper is dissolved in acid baths with copper sulfate and also formulations with potassium pyrophosphate and copper pyrophosphate. It is also used in baths based on potassium or sodium cyanide containing copper cyanide.
Phosphorus Copper Ball – DXP Copper: This lightly alloyed copper grade is used for bright deposits or as an undercoat before a Nickel deposit. Also called DHP Copper or DXP Copper, it contains between 400 and 600ppm of Phosphorus. The balls will be placed in copper sulfate baths .
Areas of use: copper balls are used for electrolytic copper plating. Depending on the type of copper deposit desired (matte, shiny, ductile, etc.), different qualities of copper will be used: Oxygen free or phosphorus.
When in use, the copper balls or copper spheres are put into titanium baskets with an anode bag around them.
Packaging: 10kg bag, 20 and 25kg carton
Availability: Available from stock
Safety/MSDS: Product for industrial use only.
