Product Description: Sodium dichromate comes in the form of an orange to red, hygroscopic powder with a minimum purity of 98.9%.
Areas of use: The main areas of use of sodium bichromate are surface treatment and leather tanning. It is also used as a strong oxidant in organic chemistry, as a corrosion inhibitor, for inks, dyes and pigments.
In surface treatment, sodium dichromate is used for passivations on stainless steel, steel and aluminum in acid baths.
