About Methoxy Propanol
Methoxy Propanol (1-methoxy-2-propanol, PGME) is a versatile glycol-ether solvent that mixes fully with water and dissolves oils, greases and resins. In electroplating and metal finishing it is used in cleaners and degreasers to prepare parts before plating, and as a coupling solvent in lacquers, protective coatings and inks applied after plating.
